THE Anti-Eviction Campaign arranged a second meeting today of Guguletu business people and residents “to prevent the renewed xenophobia that has been sweeping Cape Town”.It follows a warning from a group purporting to be businessmen in the township to Somali shopkeepers to close down. The deadline was Sunday night.

“The meeting is to air grievances and seek out the root causes of the destruction of local businesses,” said campaign spokesman Mncedisi Twalo. “Everyone is invited.” – Staff Writer
